This blog is a massive WIP.

I’m still in the process of transferring over four years of blog entries from two different websites I used over the year. It’s a slow process but I’ve found that it’s fun to go back and remember all the little things we’ve done since Molly and Allie were born in 2007. Now that the girls are four and we’ve added little sister Elizabeth  life is busier but more fun than ever! It’s cliche, but the time does go so fast. So every now and then it’s nice to go back and laugh about the little things.

The main reason I blog is to give grandparents and other out-of-town family and friends a chance to keep up with us, but there are other benefits as well. I find it to be therapeutic. What seemed like a disaster of a day can make for a really funny blog entry, and before long I’m chuckling to myself and feeling better about the whole thing. Somehow writing things down helps keep them in perspective. The other bonus is that we’ll have these stories to look back on years from now. Since I’m not good at scrapbooking this is my baby book. It’s full of random thoughts, grammatical errors, and plenty of things I must have written but make absolutely no sense to me now. As I’m transferring I have to admit it’s tempting to change or correct those blog entries that are so out there I can’t believe I wrote them. But that sort of takes the fun out of it, right? Especially since those were probably the times I was writing on 3 hours of sleep and barely got a shower. So I decided to keep things authentic, mistakes, stupid thoughts and all. Good luck.
